One of Maud’s projects, through her Foundation, is to give sick children a goal, to get them more socially active, to help them have amazing experiences and realise their personal dreams. She regularly visits hospitals to give sick children courage in the midst of their illness.
As patron of the charity Kiwi (http://www.kiwi-organisation.org/), Maud recently attended a seafood-themed cookery morning for children from Lyon Hospital, at Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic’s restaurant in Valence.
Thanks to the Foundation, sick children can discover sailing, which helps them in their everyday struggles against illness. The Foundation has also organised an advance screening of Arthur and the Invisibles for children in the cancer ward at the Timon Hospital in Marseilles.
